IBM Business Connect
CLIENT: IBM Norway
LOCATION: Oslo, Norway
ROLE: Executive Producer
YEAR: 2014

Each year, IBM Norway hosts a full day of education and networking for its key stakeholders and business partners, combining thought leadership with opportunities for meaningful connection across its growing business ecosystem.
In 2014, I produced the conference at a premier hotel in Oslo’s business district, designing a program that balanced content, networking, and experiential touchpoints. The day opened with a traditional Norwegian breakfast followed by a general session featuring keynote presentations from across IBM’s leadership and partner network.
Between sessions, attendees were invited to explore a mini trade show, connect with fellow suppliers, and engage with one of the event’s standout features: IBM’s Watson Food Truck. We transformed the hotel’s existing lobby bar into a functional food truck, serving dishes created from recipes generated by Watson itself. The concept extended beyond the venue, with a branded Watson food truck used to promote the event throughout the city in advance.
The afternoon transitioned to themed breakout sessions on the second floor, with each room tailored to the technical and production needs of individual speakers. Branded wayfinding and signage ensured a seamless attendee flow throughout the day.
The conference concluded with a closing keynote from Anne Lindmo, one of Norway’s most respected television hosts, bringing the audience back together for a high-impact finale that blended insight, relevance, and cultural resonance.
