Outfest with AT&T
CLIENT: AT&T
LOCATION: Mondrian Los Angeles
ROLE: Executive Producer
YEAR PRODUCED: 2019

In their first year as an official sponsor of the Outfest Los Angeles LGBTQ Film Festival, AT&T launched a bold, high-energy brunch experience celebrating both the festival’s legacy and the brand’s longstanding support of the LGBTQ+ community. Set at the Mondrian Los Angeles in West Hollywood, the event was designed as a vibrant, 1970s-inspired disco brunch that transformed the iconic pool deck into a fully immersive, joy-forward celebration.
Guests entered through the Mondrian’s oversized doors adorned with oversized rainbow ribbons and custom disco-mirrored AT&T branding, immediately setting the tone. Roller skaters greeted attendees with welcome cocktails before ushering them onto the pool deck, where a pop-up beauty salon offered complimentary, 1975-inspired hair, makeup, and nail services.
The space was layered with disco balls, rainbow fringe, and a fully built stage to support drag performances and live music, creating a high-impact entertainment environment that matched the scale and personality of the festival. The result was a culturally resonant, highly shareable moment that reinforced AT&T’s authentic commitment to community, inclusion, and celebration.
